I have an MSc in International Social Policy - I’ve been working with young people for the last 15(ish) years (as teaching assistant and special education support). I have been Home schooling my own children for the last 10 years and tutoring others for the last 5 years.
I am fully DBSd and have recently undertaken safeguarding training from the perspective of working with young people.
The thing I most enjoy about tutoring is finding a connection that makes learning, if not outright fun, at least something that people want to get engaged with. I have worked with students with a wide range of learning styles and really enjoy listening to each person and finding ways that make learning something accessible.

I am studying Physics and Mathematics at the University of Bath. Throughout my A Levels I mentored younger students in maths and have worked with young people in scouting as a young leader. I also volunteer with a sailing charity as a 4th hand where I work with young people who share my love of sailing. I’ve been tutoring for the last 2 years, hold a DBS and have completed a safeguarding course.
I really enjoy sharing my love of maths, physics and chemistry with students and working with them to build their own understanding and find their own inner maths nerd!
